(MKF with OKA chiefs)
Speaking in Kajiado on Friday, Deputy president William Ruto tore into Mount Kenya Foundation activities, rubbishing their interviews looking for a suitable candidate to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta .
According to the DP, he will not subject himself to interviews with a few rich people who are only interested in protecting their wealth.
"We are ready (for 2022). We are asking our competitors to be ready. We have a candidate, but for them they're still doing interviews in hotels. They are doing interviews with people seeking to protect their wealth, but for me am doing interviews with ordinary people. Let them hurry (and produce a candidate)" Ruto stated.
On Thursday, MKF held a luncheon with OKA chiefs, to listen to their ideas on how they'll govern the country if elected in 2022.
The tycoons and politicians (MKF) already held a similar event with Raila about a week ago.
Sources say they have no plans of engaging Deputy president William Ruto.
