Deputy President William Ruto ally Aden Duale lands himself in trouble over his derogatory remarks on Kisumu Women Rep Rosa Abuya as fresh details emerge.
The Garisaa town Member of Parliament allegedly used disrespectful sentiments towards Kisumu Women Rep Rosa Abuya when he told the ODM elected leader that he is not her boyfriend on the floor of Parliament, attracting ire of many.
Duale, also former Majority leader of National Assembly made the remarks on Thursday, 7 October at times, he was making his contribution on the debate about insecurity in the northern part of Kenya when Rosa Abuya intervened.
"Those of us who do not come from Northern Kenya, please do not play party politics. Don't shout at me, I am not your boyfriend." Duale fires at Rosa Abuya.
Following the remarks, Rosa has informed, she is not satisfied with Duale's apology before the Parliament, thus, she intends to take the matter up for more disciplinary action.
"I am not satisfied and am going to take it up. Rosa Buyu's response to Duale's apology.
Speaking at Citizen TV Interview, Rosa said, this is not the first time this happening. According to her, it was pure trespass amid claim, if the discussion was about National issues how does the issue of girlfriend and boyfriend comes in.
" This us not the first time this is happening. If you are discussing a national issues of girlfriend and boyfriend comes in? That is a way of intimidating female leaders." She concluded on her clash with Duale.
