Amount Of Money Raised By The Executive Fundraiser Attended By Raila At Serena Today

In a fundraiser that was held today at the Serena Hotel in Nairobi, the former Prime Minister Odinga joined the Treasury and Planning CS Ukur Yatani who was the first Governor of Marsabit county in raising money for construction of a school in his home county.
The fundraiser was aimed at construction of a secondary school in Nana Location of Golbo Ward in Moyale, Marsabit County and at the end of the day, Ksh 34 million was raised.
According to a post shared by ODM party on Facebook, joining CS Ukur Yatani in that fundraiser was also the Dr Monica Juma and other top leaders in politics and business.
The former PM also used the opportunity to popularize the Buillding Bridges Initiative urging Kenyans to support the constitutional amendment proposals for a prosperous Kenya.
He will be travelling to Narok county tomorrow on Sunday for a fellowship at CCI Church Rotian in Narok North constituency and will be holding a rally in Narok town to popularize the document.
