Kiagu ward by-election seems to have taken a new twist after the disqualification of CCK party candidate with the battle being now between jubilee and UDA party. However politics being local, it's clear the chances of jubilee party winning in the by-election are completely nill given already most people in the area support UDA.
Even going by the DP Ruto's today tour in Meru County, this just confirms that the Meru County region is solidity behind the deputy president William Ruto. Therefore this is a pointer that UDA is the party to beat ahead of the by-election.
Jubilee party is facing problem in the by-election for the major reason that it's a divided party as well they have failed to to campaign in the by-election. Another reason related to such is the revelation of ardent party members Like Ngunjiri Wambugu that the party has no chance over UDA in the by-election.
However as always it's a matter of wait and see of what will unfold moving into the by-election. Whether UDA party will manage to win the seat ahead of the by-election against jubilee party only time will tell for they have all chances into their advantage.
