It is a sad day in Busia a police officer was reported dead minutes after developing breathing breathing difficulties.
According to a police statement, Today 21st July 2021 at around 0300hrs It was reported by no. 106970 pc Kelvin Otieno of Mayenje police post through telephone number 071094996* to the deputy Ocs Ip Dennis Kiboi that the Oc Mayenje police post No 215340 Ip Julius Tonui had developed difficulty in breathing while inside his rented house within Bulanda village.
The deceased was rushed to Tanaka hospital where he passed on while undergoing treatment in the facility.
The officer had been treated diabetic and pressure a week ago at the same facility. Body moved to Tanaka hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
Recently, incident of death after developing difficult breathing have been on the rise.
A majority of these cases have been associated the deadly coronavirus that has clearly wreaked havoc across the country.
