The second in command and his allies are vigorously campaigning for their candidate in Kiambaa Constituency. Mr John Wanjiku together with other Tangatanga members from Mt Kenya region are camping in Kiambaa to ensure they reach out to as many electorates as possible in this Constituency. They are carrying out door to door campaigns targeting women and youths.
To capture the interest of the youths, UDA party had organized a football tournament in the area. The tournament was supposed to end today by having a final match in a certain primary school. According to Dennis Itumbi, they had engaged Karuri primary in aim of hosting a final match today.
However, UDA leaders have been left stranded and confused after the Karuri primary play ground was closed. Nobody is allowed to go in. According to the information given to them, the ground is supposed to host another meeting whose organizers booked the ground earlier. "... Police block out UDA Kiambaa football teams from the ground at Karuri primary school. Instead police say Jubilee function to take place on the ground..." Itumbi wrote in his Twitter account.
This incident has left Ruto allies crying for space in Kiambaa Constituency so that they host a Final match as scheduled.
