The Premier League has taken a short international break starting this week. Players have been called up to represent their respective countries for upcoming matches. Some of these matches are World Cup qualifying matches and the UEFA Nations League.
As some players have not been called to represent their national teams, others are left to train due to injury or lack of fitness at their club.
Since the international break has started, Manchester United plan to organise a friendly tonight. More interesting is that Marcus Rashford could be in contention. Rashford successfully underwent shoulder surgery in the summer and was seen back in training on Friday.
The journalist didn't reveal the opponents but according to the comments, United could face Championship side Blackburn Rovers.
More to follow.
