The former prime minister of the republic of Kenya the rat. hon Raila Odinga today has caused a buzz in the social media space. Raila Odinga alias Baba declared Monday 20th as a public holiday. He declared it while giving a speech during a political rally in Siaya today.
The main purpose of the public holiday is to allow his supporters who would normally go to work on weekdays to join him in the political rally.
"In the name of Azimio one Kenya Alliance, We declare that Monday, March 20 will be a public holiday," Raila stated.
Raila Odinga made the statement after Martha Karua requested him to do so. Martha Karua remarked that there is no way that their supporter will make it to protest while going to work.
Azimio One Kenya Alliance have been protesting for quite sometime since the fifth president of Kenya was sworn alleging that the election was rigged and its the main reason there are calling for mass action all over the country.
