The Monday accident occurred at the Buxton junction on the Mombasa-Malindi road at around 4.30pm.

Lawmakers yesterday piled pressure on President William Ruto to declare his stand on the LGBTQ community following the ruling on the apex Court allowing them to register associations

Addressing the floor of the National Assembly, Likoni legislator Mishi Mboko tested President Ruto's claims of the Christian faith to the test calling him to openly declare the undertaking of the community as unlawful.

"I would like to see the Ruto address this issue and rebuke it as openly as he professes the Christian faith," Mboko declared.

A bandit has turned a primary school rooms in Baringo into his home in a surprise manner show of impunity.

The bandits has turned the school’s classrooms into bedrooms and gave each room to members of his family.

In a shocking remarks by Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki on Wednesday evening, senators said the Standard Eight class has been preserved for the criminal’s bedroom and the Standard Seven one given to his first wife.

The man’s second wife spends her night in the Standard Six class and his first-born kid has seized Standard Five.


3. Details Of Mombasa Motorist arrested for running over traffic police officer.

Constable Julius Marwa was controlling traffic at Buxton Junction at 4:30 pm, when the suspect defied stop orders and sped off, dragging Marwa against the tarmac.

The driver, who has since been identified as Osman Jama Abdi, was driving a silver Toyota Ractis. It is said that he refused to turn off the engine to allow officer Marwa to inspect his car.

The traffic police officer is then said to have opened the driver’s door, intending to turn off the ignition but Abdi grabbed his hand and immediately sped off.

"The action of the driver prompted the officer to open the driver's door with the intent to turn off the ignition, but unexpectedly the driver grabbed the officer's hand and tried to pull him inside the vehicle before driving off at high speed." Police statement read.

According to the police, after driving for about 200 meters, the driver pushed out Mr Marwa and the rear right wheel of the vehicle ran over him
