Mashujaa Day is usually a major holiday in our country Kenya.On 20th of October every year, Kenyans unite to celebrate the impact of our heroes in different sectors for example: athletes who has represented our country, our founding fathers etc.
In 2021, the celebrations will be very different as compared to the previous ones.The government through the Ministry of Interior Security and Coordination has announced bad news to kenyans.The celebrations have been banned in counties due to Covid-19 pandemic.The Principal Secretary of the ministry, Doctor Karanja Kibicho issued a statement on the matter.
However, they will go on as planned in Kirinyaga County since the national celebration has been scheduled to take place there. President Uhuru Kenyatta, Deputy President William Samoei Ruto and other top officials in the government are expected to attend.
