Governor Orengo Pleads With President William Ruto to do This to Raila Odinga Before Time Goes.

President William Ruto ended his three days tour in Nyanza region and the greater lakeside counties. This is the first time that the President visited this region that is predominantly opposition.

The head of state who said that he has no bad heart with the people from the region for not voting for him had a basket of gift hampers for the people starting with roads and industries. He also promised to complete the stalled projects of the former regime.

During the visit to Siaya county, the County governor who is also a well know senior counsel hon James Orengo pledged with President William Ruto to talk with the opposition leader hon Raila Amollo Odinga.

He said that even if it will not be a hard shake the president should consider working with Odinga in the government to ensure that the country remains united even after the August 9 2022 general election.

The governor further warned elected leaders to stop talking about the 2027 General election as early as this. He said that they have all the time to do what they can do now to deliver the promises they made earlier.
