236 village administrators have successfully completed a three week training that has equipped them adequately to serve the people of Bungoma bringing to an end, a three year protracted wait for them to assume office.
Drawn from across all the nine sub counties, the administrators, who are a true reflection of the diversity in this county, bring with them a fresh boost that will see the strengthening of the county's administrative function in the grassroots levels.
Speaking at the function, H. E Governor Wycliffe Wangamati congratulated them for having emerged the best of over 9,000 applicants who applied for this position.
"Every day, when you wake up, thank God every day for the opportunity to serve the people of Bungoma" he exhorted them even as he urged them to maintain discipline and servant hood while in service.
Present at the ceremony were CECMs, Chief Officers, Provincial Administrators, Honourable MCAs, Kibabii Dipolma TTC administration, members of the public and families of the newly recruited officers.
