It is now nine months to next year general election and political leaders are preparing themselves in bid to run for various political seats in the country. Political alliances are also cropping y with political leaders looking for like-minded individuals to team up with.
Presidential race taking shape with various political leaders announcing their bid to run for country's top seat. So far Deputy president Dr William Ruto, Moses Wetangula, Gideon Moi, Kalonzo Musyoka, Governor Alfred Mutua and Mukhisa Kitui have already expressed their interest to run for presidency to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta who is serving his second and final term in the office.
ODM party leader and former prime minister Raila Amolo Odinga is yet to make public if he will run for presidency for fifth term but he is expected to declare whether he will contest or not on December 9, 2021.
However, Raila's presidential bid has been dealt a major blow after Makueni governor Kivuta Kibwana announces his bid to run for country's top seat. This comes barely days after Kibwana endorsed Raila for presidency under Azimio La Umoja' e.
