" I am not Funding You Anymore." Trump to WHO

US president Donald Trump has announced that he was freezing all funding to the World Health Organisation blaming it for accelerating the corona virus pandemic by opposing travel bans from China which he supported.

The president declared he was cutting somewhere in the range of $400million and $500million of financing to the UN-supported body on Tuesday subsequent to blaming it for taking China's supposed lies about the spread and death pace of coronavirus at face esteem.

He said those supposed goofs had permitted the infection to spread and caused passings that could have been kept away from. Talking on the White House yard, Trump finished on a risk he initially made a week ago, saying: ''Today I am training my association to end financing of the World Health Organisation while a survey is directed to evaluate the WHO's job in seriously blundering and concealing the spread of the crown infection."

Trump, who had threatened to freeze funds to the international organization earlier this month, said the US provides between about $400 million to $500 million each year to the organization.

He accused the global body of “severely mismanaging and covering up” the threat, even though it declared a public health emergency on 30 January – after which he continued to hold rallies, play golf and compare the corona virus to the common flu.

Pundits were shocked at the transition to cut cash from a basic UN office during a worldwide pandemic. António Guterres, the UN secretary general, "This is not the right time to limit resources for the activities of the World Health Organization or some other compassionate association in the battle against the infection.

"As I have said previously, right now is an ideal opportunity for solidarity and for the universal network to cooperate in solidarity to stop this infection and its breaking results," he said in an announcement.

World leaders have come out to criticize Trump's move calling it ill advised and a bad one at this point. They claim that Trump is simply playing politics since WHO supported China activities a thing that left Trump embarrassed.
