Footballers Who Were eligible To Play For Three Different Countries

In football, players are illegible to play for a country because of birth, migration or by registration as well.

Today I am going to look at some of the players who had the right to represent more then three countries due to some legal rights. Let's take a look at the players :-

Pierre Emerick-Aubamayang.

The Gabon captain was born in France, to a Gabonees father and a Spanish mother, making him eligible to represent three nations, Gabon, Spain and France, as we all know he chose to represent African nation Gabon just like his father.

He is now the Gabon national team all time top scorer.

Kylian Mbappe.

The world cup winner was born in France where he chose to represent, to a Cameroonian father and an Algerian mother. He had three international call ups, from Cameroon, Algeria and France, where he chose France, a place he was born.

How the history could have changed if he chose either of the African countries.

Emmanuel Adebayor.

The Togolese was born to a Nigerian father and a Ghanaian mother, but chose to represent Togo, a country he was born in. He was eligible to play for either Nigeria, Ghana or Togo.
