On 24th of March 2021, His Excellency Uhuru Kenyatta met with top influential figures within the coastal political circle.
The brigade comprised of three coastal politicians who are politically aligned to the opposition chief and Orange Democratic Party leader Raila Odinga.
This has created tension among Tangatanga minions.
Tangatanga spokesperson Dennis Itumbi has raised eyebrows over Uhuru's impromptu meeting with top leaders allied to Raila Odinga.
Being a President of the Republic of Kenya, Uhuru is expected to be a symbol of national unity.
Tangatanga faction has smelled something fishy after Uhuru's meeting with the three coastal political kingpins.
Dennis Itumbi has decried schemes to vanquish strong political parties like ODM .
They have further decried the promotion of weak regional caricatures of tribal formations.
