James Gakara's casket was placed between that of his daughter Karuana Gakara and son Dylan Gakara.
James Gakara was suspected of killing his five-year old son and three-year old daughter who were found dead besides the unconscious doctor. He was rushed to hospital but died on 22nd September 2021.
Winnie Odhiambo mourned her husband in an emotional message. She explained how the two met in February 2014. Their union was then officiated on 25th November 2015.
Winnie added that Gakara was the best partner she ever met. He was selfless and supportive. She got everything she would ask from him.
