Wangui Forced to Pull Down Her Facebook Post After Heavily Criticized by UDA SSuppor
It is season for shifting of political allegiances. The leaders across the country are busy making the political moves that would save their political careers in future. Many leaders are leaving their old parties for new parties ahead of 2022 elections.
The recent controversies hit Kirinyaga County Women Representative Purity Wangui Ngirici. She is known to be iron lady and foot soldier of Deputy President William Ruto in Kirinyaga's politics. The lawmaker was ardent supporter of Dp Ruto before Kirinyaga County Governor Ann Waiguru joined the United Democratic Alliance party allied to Deputy President William Ruto.Ruto visited Kirinyaga County lasted week visited, both Wangui Ngirici and Ann Waiguru showed up in the rally. Ruto asked residents to make choices by themselves.
Wangui has been very silent for a week since Ruto's tour to the county. On Friday 3rd December 2021, Wangui Ngirici shared a photo of herself with Nairobi County Governor Ann Kanuna. Majority of UDA supporters denounced the Mp not being loyal to UDA party while others asking her to leave the UDA party for other parties.
One hour after Wangui Ngirici shared her post, I visited her page to check the reactions from Kenyans only to find the story no longer exited meaning she pulled down the post.
