Jubilee Party Vice Chairman David Murathe has once again launched fresh attacks against his boss Deputy President William Samoei Ruto. Murathe who is among the fierce critics of DP Ruto has weighed in on the ongoing Covid-19 vaccine drama in the country.
On Thursday, Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe banned the importation, distribution and appliance of Covid-19 vaccines by private entities. The ban meant that the Sputnik V vaccine in the country would be stopped immediately.
Following this ban, leaders allied to DP Ruto among other leaders have been criticizing the government’s move stating that it was only extending the war against the DP to citizens.
David Murathe has however lashed back at the leaders stating that Ruto was among the importers of the Russian vaccine. According to an article done by Radio Jambo, Ruto was among the leading businessmen importing the vaccine for profits sake. Murathe stated that the noise surrounding the vaccine is just because Ruto was among the importers.
