According to an article by Charles Watts of Goal.com that rated all Arsenal players according to the game against Bournemouth, Reiss Nelson received the highest, a 10 out of 10.
Watts who is the Goal's Arsenal correspondent gave two reasons for awarding Nelson all the ten points: one, Nelson gave an assist which led to the equalizer, and two, he scored a beauty of a strike in the dying minutes of the game to seal all three points for the Emirates outfit.
Close to Nelson was Thomas party who Mikel Arteta introduced in the second half. Partey received an eight out of ten from Watts. The rating was mainly because of the goal he scored in the 62nd minute. Also, because Partey has been a very influential starter for the gunners.
Martin Odegaard got a 7/10, Fabio Vieira and Oleksandr Zinchenko each got a 6/10. The Gunners centre defenders, Saliba and Magalhaes each got a 5/10 on which Watts said was due to their shaky performances throughout the game. Takehiro who completed the defence got the worst rating of 3/10.
Ramsdale rocked a 7/10 for the wonderful save that he made during the first half. Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli each got a 6/10 and to close off was Leandro Trossard who went off injured after just 22 minutes of the first half.
Overall, the gunners displayed their resilience and ability to fight from losing positions and forge forward to win a tough match. Bournemouth who hit a double after just 57 minutes on the clock could have taken only a strong team, mentally, to snatch a win. Gunners have now made several comebacks in the league including a famous Aston Villa 6-goal thriller.
Who Knows, this might just be the season the gunners move on to clinch the title after nearly almost two decades.
