One butcher from Embu has today admitted in court that he killed his colleague for refusing to lend him sh. 200 and also he refused to buy him beer. The butcher by the name Paul Gotonga admitted that he did the murder on 12th February, 2023.
Paul told the court that he approached the late Dickson Njue while he was enjoying at a bar in Makengi village and requested him to lend him sh. 200 and buy him a beer but he declined his request. Him and the late walked out of the bar while pushing each other. A few metres from the bar, Paul took out a knife and stabbed his colleague at the right side of his neck which led to his death.
"It is true that I killed the deceased by stabbing him with a knife," Paul said today while in court. The body was taken to morgue and Paul was later arrested.
