Elected leaders from Nandi county led by governor Stephen Sang have today paid a courtesy call to Kenya Urban Roads Authority ( KURA) director general Silas Kinoti in Nairobi for a consultative meeting.
The Nandi county leaders talks with director general Silas Kinoti centered on roads upgrade in urban centres across the county.
In the meeting, the leaders agreed on an upgrade programs with the KURA director general for roads in urban centres within the county.
Governor Stephen Sang further revealed that Kenya Urban Roads Authority technical team will also visit this Urban centres in Nandi next week for design works.
" Together with colleagues leaders from Nandi county, we held a meeting with Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) team led by director general Silas Kinoti. We discussed and agreed on an upgrade programs for roads in urban centres across the county" posted Governor Sang on his official Facebook page.
Legislators who accompanied Governor Sang in the meeting includes; Mosop MP Abraham Kirwa, Aldai MP Marianne Kitany, Women Rep Cynthia Muge among other elected leaders from the county.
Nandi Senator Samson Cheragei was however missing in the meeting according to photos shared by the governor.
