As days go by, we are witnessing an increased number of demonstrations in the country with the major one being the high cost of living. Comedian Erick Omondi has been a recent Kenyan to read demonstrations, in a company of several shirtless youths, Erick Omondi demonstrated outside the parliament buildings and he was arrested with his other colleagues and later released the following day.
Yesterday the former prime minister Raila Amollo Odinga held a rally at Jivanjee gardens in Nairobi, while in the meeting, he gave the government a maximum of fourteen days to lower the cost of life without which he will lead mass action against the new regime.
Just a day following Raila's demand, his few supporters led by Nuru Okanga and Omosh and some two, three others have walked through the streets of Nairobi while chanting Ruto must go, they are also heard chanting Jowi! Jowi! and sang a common Luo praise song as Omosh is heard saying "Na bado."
