That President Uhuru Kenyatta will in the coming days reunite with his Deputy President William Ruto isn't a matter of how but when. This follows the explosion of confirmed reports that President Uhuru Kenyatta's Kieleweke Camp has now changed its hardline position as far as Ruto's comeback to the Jubilee Government is now concerned.
Speaking to Kenyans. co. ke, Nyeri Town Member of Parliament Hon Kimani Wambugu who's also a fierce critic of DP Ruto has now said that a time comes when you are forced to let go away any form of entitlement that could risk your life of Kenyans. For the first time, Wambugu admitted that the simmering tension between the two leadoff will automatically erode all gains made as far as peaceful coexistence is concerned.
But on a more careful note, Hon Wambugu reported that after the anticipated re-union of the two leaders, they (Kieleweke) will have to monitor DP Ruto keenly to determine whether or not he can be trusted with the leadership of the country post-2022.
"However, we will watch him and see whether he can be trusted, and if he can, we are happy to have him join us in considering what’s in it for us as a region before we vote for whichever candidate, which has been my consistent message about 2022," part of his message read.
Nevertheless, unverified claims and reports have indicated that the move is likely to destroy the political handshake deal between President Uhuru Kenyatta and the ODM Party Leader Hon Raila Odinga. Also, the likes of Robert Alai have in recent days smelled betrayal feeling after coming out to claim that the ongoing fight between Uhuru and Ruto is a stage-managed event aimed at assisting Ruto to gain political sympathy.
