According to his recent post, he said Bomet county farmers will now export 40 tonnes of CTC tea and 20 tonnes of Orthodox tea to Iran monthly. He further said this is due to the signing of a deal with other Iranian Companies on Friday.(Courtesy photo)
Perhaps, he elaborated that this is in addition to the ongoing export agreement of tea to Islamic Republic of Iran; the move is set to open up more opportunities for Bomet tea in Iran.
He stated that as an agricultural county, his administration continues to build and expand the trade portfolio by leveraging on the county's agro-processing prowess.His post attracted several comments from Kenyans, majority of them praised him for the good work he is doing for the ￼￼farmers of his county.
