Fears Of Violence In UDA's Nyeri Tour As Some DP Ruto's Allies Allege Opponent Plan For Disruptions

Deputy president William Ruto and his United Democratic Alliance party entourage are expected to tour the Mt Kenya region of Nyeri County starting from Chaka, in Kieni Constituency.

However, according to reliable reports, some of Deputy President William Ruto's allies have expressed their fears that some of their opponents are planning to disrupt the meetings and cause some chaos, something they did not expect.

Speaking during a press conference, UDA Party Coordinator Wahome Mwangi alleged that Kanini Kega and Wambugu Ngunjiri are planning to incite youths to cause chaos and mayhem to the meeting.

"We have intelligence that some youths have been hired to cause chaos, we want to state that we expect leaders who are not supporting Ruto presidential bid to leave us alone just the way we did not intefere with Raila Ondinga visit to the county." Mr Mwangi stated.

Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua also stated that the UDA camp is in fear that some youths will disrupt the meetings.

"Some fearful leaders in Kieni and Nyeri town have plans to disrupt Ruto functions." Rigathi Gachagua echoed.

What are your thoughts on these allegations?
