The body of a man who choked in River Nyamindi, Kirinyaga County, as he took a selfie with his darling on Easter Sunday has been recuperated.
His leftover parts were taken to the Kerugoya Referral Hospital mortuary. The body of the person who was with Mugo has recovered seven days earlier and taken to a comparative funeral home.
On a game-evolving day, the couple appeared in Mbiri town on a cruiser and subsequently proceeded to the bank of the swollen stream. They halted the cruiser under a tree and visited joyfully while getting a charge out of the exquisite view.
They were taking photos at the bank when they slipped and fell into the waters and were cleared downstream. Following the scene, Gichugu Sub-County DCI chief Millicent Ochuka forewarned against trips to the stream during the turbulent season. "Visitors should watch the stream a distance away to avoid such events," she said.
