Current State In Nigeria As Retired President Uhuru Kenyatta Raises Concern Over Elections Violence

Trouble looms in Nigeria as retired President Uhuru Kenyatta expresses concerns over the conduct of the recently held presidential election in Nigeria. Speaking at a press conference, Uhuru Kenyatta revealed that the election was largely conducted under the cloud of violence in several states, which he said presented a challenge to the electoral process.

The election took place amidst general insecurity in the Northwest, Northeast, Southeast, and South geopolitical zones. Uhuru Kenyatta also added that the insecurity issue presented a challenge to the conduct of the elections as noted on the attack on the Inec offices, personnel and materials before the election.

Uhuru Kenyatta has thus urged Nigerians to be patient and everything will be fine as fraud claims get reported in several parts. Presidential candidate Bola Tinubu is still leading and more is expected to emerge.
