This school was founded in the year 1952 as small learning center for Indian children. It is headed by Mrs. Caroline Khamala who is the headteacher and Mrs. Maryclare Olewe who is the deputy headteacher. The senior teacher of Aga Khan Primary school is Mrs. Marine Awiti.
Aga Khan primary school is one of the most prestigious primary schools in Kisumu county. The school boasts of best modern infrastructures such as classrooms, library, practical facilities, playing grounds, latrines and showers.
