Despite of his indomitable political statue, the man from Sugoi joined arms with other operatives among them Musalia Mudavadi (ANC), Moses Wetangula (Ford-Kenya), Alfred Mutua (Maendeleo Chap Chap) among others.
It was this formidable team that enabled the self-professed chief hustler to outwit his erstwhile political master turned critic and competitor _Raila Odinga.
In the spirit of fullfulling the famous Latin wisdom Quid pro quo (scratch my back I scratch yours), president Ruto rewarded his war generals with plum positions. Wetangula become the speaker of the National Assembly with Mudavadi and Mutua becoming Prime CS and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs respectively.
As the aforenamed trio put their best feet forward to register stellar performance in their respective dockets, UDA secretary-general has disclosed that the pack risks losing their plum positions, reason? their contempt towards the president.
In a recent address, Cleophas Malala called leaders within Kenya Kwanza government to fold their individual parties and incorporate them with UDA failure to they will face the consequences.
The Ruto-led UDA party is scheming to be the largest party with some of it's intents being laying a firm political foundation to outweigh their competitors ahead of next poll. Malala was recently tasked to make this mission a reality.
