Inside Wang'uru Stadium That Will Be Used For Mashujaa Day Celebrations This Year

The country Kenya is yet to hold Mashujaa day. It is a public holiday where the country recognizes and celebrates heroes who fought for independence.

The celebrations are normally held in various stadia in the country including Kasarani, Gusii stadia. This case is a bit different as the celebration are set to take place in a newly constructed Wang'uru stadium in mwea, Nyandarua county.

The construction of the stadium set off last year and it costed 300 million shillings. It came to completion this year August and is well set for Mashujaa day celebrations this year. It is confirmed that the stadium can hold a capacity of 15000 individuals.

However, due to COVID-19 pandemic cases in the country, only 2000 individuals will be allowed to attend the celebrations. This is following the orders given out by Interior principal secretary Kibicho few hours ago today.
