TSC Teachers Caught Unaware Today By Deregistration of a School, TSC to Transfer Them Immediately

The government is determined to see that the students are well taken care of while in or out of schools.During the closure of schools, the parents are urged to take care of their children at home.At the moment, there are rampant cases of abductions of school going children. The abducters do demand for huge ransoms.

The teachers employer has always ensured that all the Government schools get the number of teachers who are able to handle the number of learners in a particular school.

At times, the Commission has always transferred some teachers to other schools in an attempt to balance the schools.

Currently, the school heads are up in arms for the new KNEC policy that schools with less than 30 candidates will have to do exams in centers with at least 30 candidates. This is seen as a looming hindrance to majority of the candidates.

Even before the issues to do with the number of candidates are resolved,a school in Kisii County has been closed indefinitely by the ministry of education. As reported by KBC Channel One,the school has faced challenges to do with enrollments.Simiti Secondary school in Nyamache sub-county currently has only 9 students as compared to 2018 when it had 128 students. While making the announcements today, the County Education Board Chair Professor Henry Onderi has advised TSC to immediately close the school. This is a setback to the area residents.
