Assistant Chief of Defence of Forces in Charge of Personnel and Logistics Major General Muthuri Kiugu has today taken charge of key Kenya Defence Forces as Chief of Defence Forces General Robert Kibochi was missing at the event.
The key event was the Annual Delegates Meeting of the Defence Forces Old Comrades Association which was conducted at the Defence Headquarters. The financial audit of the Association was tabled and discussed.

While speaking at the event, Major General Kiugu thanked the officials for their immense contribution in the growth of DEFOCA adding that KDF leadership is willing to do more to help improve the members’ wellbeing.
Others who were also in attendance during the meeting were Managing Director DEFOCA Brigadier Iddi Isak, Chief of Personnel Defence Headquarters Brigadier Elijah Gatere, Chief of Compensation and Welfare Brigadier John Khaoya, Senior Officers, Officers, Service Members both serving and retired.
