Deputy Governor Narok county Evalyn Aruasa is mourning the loss of her brother in the ill fated Kenya airforce in Ngong last Thursday. Bob Kepkemoi was among the ten soldiers who died when the helicopter crashed landed in training session in oltepesi Ngong area in Kajiado west.
According to the people daily newspaper, Bob Kepkemoi Aruasa 40 years was a first born son in the family of six. He was the brother of melelo MCA ward philomena Aruasa, and a cousin to Bomets chamenar ward MCA ward chesang Aruasa. According to his brother Philomena, Bob enrolled in disciplined forces in 2002 as a technician in air force. He is survived by widower and three sons.
However some thirteen soldiers were injured and are admitted in defence forces memorial Mbagathi Nairobi hospital. President Uhuru Kenyatta and Defence force Cabinet Secretary have visited the victims soldiers in the hospital and wished them quick recovery.
