The people of Kericho county do not want to see Kenya defence forces military choppers flying around their county according to Narok county senator Hon Ledama Olekina.
Speaking on a day where the president is headed to Kapsabet in Nandi county this morning for a thanksgiving event, the vocal senator says the people of Kericho want to see the cost of living come down and are not interested in the frequent political events.
He argues that the display of power by president William Ruto's allies is simply a plot to hoodwink the people of Rift valley into believing that they are in government, something he describes as very unfortunate.
"Kericho people don’t want to see military choppers in their airspace preparing for a ‘thanks giving’ they want the cost of living to go down. All these ‘prayers’ is an attempt to hoodwink them into believing they have power! Very sad!" he said.

President William Ruto has been on a series of thanksgiving events in the last few months, a situation that has been frowned upon by the opposition.
