Kenya and USA have always enjoyed a good relationship when it comes to security cooperation.US has been supplying Kenyan soldiers with state of art millitary equipments and also huge support intelligence gathering capabilities which has significantly impacted how Kenya deal with terrorist groups.
Kenya has also reciprocated by allowing US forces to set up some of their bases here in Kenya where they can launch their operations targeting Alshabaab militia.
This cooperation has today seen another milestone after US Airforce Combat Aviation Advisors together with Kenya Airforce staff completed a three-month exercise which involved training on various capabilities of Kenya Airforce newly acquired C-145 Combat Coyote.

"U.S. & Kenyan military forces conducted training with the Kenyan's new C-145. The U.S.-Kenyan partnership will continue to promote regional Security & counter extremists like al-Shabaab." SOCA Africa tweeted.
The Culmination of the exercise featured showcasing of airdrop capabilities,medical evacuation and short range takeoff and landing.
Both sides expressed satisfaction on the way the operation was done and urged for continued engagements.
"It has been interesting working with our counterparts. We can learn a lot from people, and we can also better our forces. The C-145 is a more tactical aircraft, so for me it has been different, the sharing of the knowledge, the direction, has been awesome.” Kenyan Defence Forces Corporal. Mercy Kendi, aircraft technician said in a statement released by US Africa Command through their twitter account.
