John Elungata said the county has been a threat because of Al-Shabaab millitants who sneak into Kenya and hide at the Boni forest.
According to the commissioner, the officers will help in Manning kcse examinations which are on going. The will work with the help of the provided administration police.
"The Kenya Defense Forces have been deployed in Lamu County to assist in securing the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education examination which is faced with threats of Al-Shabaab attacks", star breaking reports.
This is to ensure that the learner's are secure and the exams go on undisturbed. Credible results will be expected after learner's write the exam in a tranquil and serene environments devoid of threats.
The residents will also be secure. We urge the government to keep the officers in this country for safety reasons.
