Colonel Fabian Lengusuranga of the Kenyan Army is William Ruto's new aide-de-camp. Col. Lengusuranga takes over for Timothy Lekolool, who was promoted to the rank of Brigadier and assigned to the Department of Defense headquarters.
He went to the funeral of Jack Gachagua, the brother of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, in Mathira, Nyeri county, with President Ruto on his first day of job.The new ADC is Lt. Col. Damaris Agnetta, a soldier in the Kenyan Army.Racheal Nduta Kamui, who was promoted to full Colonel and moved to the Department of Defense's administrative headquarters, is succeeded by her.
Col. Lengusuranga was commissioned in 1999. He is a seasoned and successful military officer and the senior Special Forces branch commander. Lt. Col. Damaris Agnetta joined the Artillery as soon as she was commissioned in 2003. She also took part in a UN Observer Mission. Both the former ADC and his deputy were Kenyan Navy veterans.
