BREAKING NEWS: South Korea Fires Warning Shots as North Korean Drones Intrude

International news hitting the airwaves is that South Korea has fired warning shots after drones believed to be from North Kora intruded their airspace.

According to Reuters, the South Korean military scrambled fighter jets and attack helicopters and fired warning shots on Monday after North Korean drones violated its airspace.

The publication reported that South Korea tracked the drones crossing from North Korea over what is known as the Military Demarcation Line between the two countries

South Korean Military first ordered the Transport Minister to suspect all flights from departing during that hour when the military fired warning shots at North Korea.

The inspection of the flights began at 1:08 p.m. (0408 GMT) at Gimpo and at 1:22 p.m. at Incheon.

It has been reported that the inspection lasted for about an hour before normal operations at the airport resumed at around 2:10 p.m. This is according to the report that the minister told Reuters.
