Deputy President Dr. William Samoei Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza brigade will on Thursday take their charm offensive mission to Vihiga county as the battle for Mulembe nation votes intensifieseses. This will be a day after DP Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza troops campaigned in the coastal region.
The Kenya Kwanza team is expected to tour Musalia Mudavadi's home county by making several stops in different parts of Vihiga. The Kenya Kwanza team will tour Gambogi, and Chavakali, fly to Moses Wetangula's home county of Bungoma and address campaign rallies at Webuye.
DP Ruto camp will then escalate their campaigns by visiting Funyula in Busia county and then return to Matungu constituency in Kakamega county.
This comes when the Azimio la Umoja coalition led by Orange Democratic Movement party leader Hon Raila Odinga also camping in the Western Kenya region in a bid to solidify its support in the region.
On Wednesday, Raila Odinga toured Vihiga county and DP Ruto is expected to counter his influence in the region in less than 24 hours. Mr. Odinga is expected to camp in Western Kenya for the next six days to popularize his presidential bid to residents.
