Uganda: Chief Of Defence Forces (CDF) Mbadi Attacked, Soldiers Open Fire at the Lorry targeting his car

Uganda Land Defence Forces Chief of Defence Forces Wilson Mbadi was yesterday attacked on his way in Uganda at around 1130hrs. He was going home from Mbuya meeting. According to the information shared by Defence Spokesman of Uganda Land Defence Forces (UPDF) on his official twitter account, a lorry driver circumvented Chief of Defence Forces lead car with its lights and siren and headed for the principles car which he hit it.

He further said that soldiers guarding him opened fire deflating the attacking or aggressive lorry. Police arrested the driver of the lorry as investigation into the matter begins.

The Chief of Defence Forces is the 4-star General after the President who is the Commander-in-chief of defence forces in Uganda. Hence second ranked in Uganda military units.
