India now claims that Pakistan-based terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET ) has been using the pseudo acronym TRF. TRF has in the recent last been taking responsibility for terror strikes in Jammu and Kasmir.
India says LET is using TRF to evade being prosecuted. National Investigative Agency (NIA) during the recent Bathindi IED investigation established that TRF was a shadow of the famous LET financed by Pakistan.
The NIA and the police on Tuesday raided 8 locations Anantnag, Baramulla, Kulgam, Srinagar, Doda, and Kishtwar districts of Jammu and Kashmir where many digital devices and other incriminating materials were recovered.
The suspects were arraigned in Bahu Fort court over recovery of 5kgs of IED from a LET terrorist.
A recent case study was during the 73rd accession day of Jammu and Kashmir where three people were shot dead, TRF took responsibility but those arrested after the attack were LET terrorists.
The group also took responsibility for the killing of 5 Indian armies near the line of control at the Keran sector in Kupwara. Five TRF men were killed in the encounter.
