BREAKING: Another Bandits Attack Near Kenya Police Camp, 4 People Reportedly Dead, Livestock Stolen

People living in the North Rift, notably in the areas surrounding Baringo and Turkana counties, have been terrorized by bandits recently. Police efforts to restore quiet through public Barazas, ground patrols, and air surveillance were undermined today by attacks on the villages of Chesunguch, Kakiteitei, and Tot.

According to reports by Citizen TV, one of the attacks happened near the Kenya Police camp.

The armed bandits recently assaulted the villages of Kakiteitei, Tot, and Chesunguch, killing four people and stealing more than 300 goats, prompting the residents of those villages to appeal for humanitarian assistance.

The criminals were reportedly well-armed and of Pokot descent, according to an online reporter located in Turkana. The constituency of Turkana East is where the attacks have taken place. Heavy gunfire blasted the air in every direction throughout the attacks.

Since noon, a large contingent of police have been stationed in the area to protect the citizens from any future attacks.
