President Uhuru Kenyatta to Grace the Opening of Manda Military Barrack

Kenya is an independent nation that attained Independence in 1963. President Uhuru Kenyatta is the current head of the republic of Kenya. Kenyatta is the chief commander of the armed forces.

It's good news to the residents of Lamu that is located at the coastal region following the move taken by president Uhuru Kenyatta who is expected to grace the opening of the Manda millitary barrack to help curb the insecurity issues that have been witnessed in the region in the recent days.

Manda barracks will constitute of the Kenya Navy millitary soldiers who will be based at the region to help curb the terrorist attacks from militia groups such as Alshabab.

In conclusion, the Kenya defence forces is one of the three security organs in the republic of Kenya that helps in defending the country against the internal and external attacks. Kdf comprises of three units namely Kenya Airforce, Navy and Army.
