Afghans Taliban Asks To Speak At The UN General Assembly Attended By Hundreds Of Heads Of States.

The Talibans through their Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi have written a letter to the United Nations (UN) where they requested to be given a chance to address the UN General Assembly in New York.

This request by the Taliban will be ruled upon by the UN committee.

In addition, the Taliban nominated their Doha based spokesperson Suhail Shaheen as their UN ambassador in Afghanistan.

The request by Afghans Taliban for participation will be considered by the Members committee drawn from VETO power countries which includes US, China and Russia.
