The cabinet secretary in charge of Defence in the Republic of Kenya Aden Duale has taken to his social media page on Friday evening to highlight of a meeting that happened at the defence headquarters in Nairobi and which was attended by several key players in the security docket.

Among those in attendance was the chief of Defence Vice chairman Francis Ogolla who recently oversaw the launch of the military games at the kahawa barracks and which was attended by almost all military units in the country.

According to the cabinet secretary the meeting brought together the intergovernmental relations technical committee who today paid a courtesy call to discuss on matter security and intergovernmental commitment in working together with the Ministry of Defence.

The Meeting further discussed areas of cooperation and other issues including the current security situation in the country with the cabinet secretary promising that a lot will be done in assuring that our borders are safe
