The Kenya Defense Forces has been at the forefront of ensuring that the country is always safe from any external aggression that looks to destabilize the peace that millions enjoy.

This afternoon, according to the available reports from the Kenya Defense Forces, the Kenya Navy Commander has made his end of year tour of the Kenya Navy bases in the coastal region.
The Commander of Kenya Navy, Major General Jimson Mutai is said to have toured the Kenya Navy Base of Manda Bay in the County of Lamu as part of the Commander’s end of year tour of the Kenya Navy Bases.

The Commander's visit is said to have affirmed the Kenya Navy Base’s operational as well as mission readiness.
It was also an eloquent opportunity to wish the many Manda Bay Base personnel as well their families a happy holidays and a prosperous happy new year.
In his address to the gathering,the Major General urged the Kenya Navy personnel to ensure that they remain vigilant as well as alert during this festive season as threats are very imminent in their area of operation.
