Kenya's defense force is thrown into mourning after the sudden death of two of their senior soldiers who passed away in the line of duty.
The late Dr. JR Edga on the right side and his colleague Dr. Tonoket were senior officers in the KDF, they were medics and they were attached at Kahawa barracks.
The two were great friends and preferred working together and being deployed together in a mission. They served the country diligently, commitment and with experience.
They live a sober and healthy lifestyle until their demise that occurred on the battlefield when their vehicle was attacked by an improvised explosive device(IED) which hit the vehicle injuring several soldiers. They passed away sustaining fatal injuries.
The death of two senior soldiers was a big blow not only to their families but also to the entire Kenya defense force for their position and commitment to duties may not be replaced soon. Soldiers from Kahawa Baracks joined in sending their condoling messages to the families. May their souls rest in peace.
