The United States of America has declared a reward of Ksh 1.2 billion for any person who will inform them where the suspected terrorist Maalim Ayman is hiding.
According to the United States of America information, Ayman planned attacks against the Kenya Defence Forces KDF and Americans in Manda in Lamu on the 5th of January 2020.
It should be remembered that the attack took place early in the morning and led to the death of three people and many more injured.
The US revealed that Ayman is a leader of an Al-Shabaab terrorist unit by the of Jaysh Ayman. The unit is conducting attacks in Kenya and Somalia.
In my perception, this is a good effort from the US in fighting terrorism which is a global problem.
