Alshabaab tactics in their aggression has seen some improvement in the recent times and their adoption of new technologies have worried many.
The militia have often hit millitary convoys with improvised explosive devices and even some rocket launchers.

These threats are among many challenges that security forces have been forced to deal with in order to eliminate their cruelty.They have sometimes imposed embargoes on the importation of these lethal weapons and also sanctioning their financiers .
Security forces also usually take millitary action against bases where some explosives weapons are made and this is what Somali National Army did to multiple bases that were suspected of manufacturing explosive devices.
"The Somalia National Army (SNA) have destroyed multiple Alshabaab bases that were used by the militants to manufacture locally made explosives." Taqwa media tweeted.
The attack could mark an important milestone in eliminating Alshabaab's threats in the region which has often been facilitated by these explosives.
